Who we are
CET Help publishes compiled reference information about KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) counselling — such as cutoffs, college lists, seat matrices, and counselling procedures — to help students and parents research their options. It is part of the WikiResults network, an initiative of BendFlex.
Not an official source
KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) counselling is conducted solely by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). We have no role in the process, no access to non-public data, and no authority to confirm ranks, seats, or admissions. Nothing on this site is an official notification, and use of any exam or authority name here is purely for identification and reference.
Where our data comes from — and its limits
Our data is compiled from documents that Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) and related official bodies publish publicly — rank lists, allotment results, seat matrices, and information brochures. Wherever possible, each dataset on the site indicates the year and source publication it was extracted from. Even so, you should assume it may contain errors:
- Extraction errors. Converting official PDFs and documents into searchable data can introduce mistakes — wrong digits, misplaced rows, mislabelled categories.
- Outdated information. Past-year data does not predict this year. Seat matrices, fee structures, college lists, and eligibility rules change every year.
- Rule changes. Counselling procedures, reservation policies, and schedules are revised by the authorities, sometimes mid-process. Our descriptions may lag behind.
Verify before you decide
Do not make any admission decision based only on this site. Before you fill choices, pay a fee, accept or reject a seat, or take any other step in counselling, verify every relevant detail against the official website of Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA): https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/. If anything on this site conflicts with an official publication, the official publication is correct and this site is wrong.
